I have been implementing the goals I made in the previous post, and we have our first season game this week. The freshman have been very willing and are working hard, but I am having trouble with a few others including some of the seniors this year who don’t like getting orders from a Junior. I’m really not trying to order them around. I really just want our team to succeed, and I can’t fathom losing another championship game- especially because we are ranked really well although we lost last year. The seniors have been lacking because they expected the same leadership as last year which I was not going to let happen again. They aren’t happy that we’ve had to run a few extra miles because of them- well, no one is happy about that. Things are going better and attendance is improving, but I don’t think we have reached our potential yet. I will let you know how the game goes!
