We are about a month out of the championship game. It looks like we are going to make it! The attendance has been perfect from each player for over a month now. Each week, girls would get up and talk about something like Julia did after the first and only game we lost this season. At this point, almost everyone had gotten up to share something from the soul. It was very motivating and brought us together as a team. It looks like none of us wanted to feel the way we did after that first game.The team dinners after the games just got better because we were becoming closer and obviously because we were winning. I think we all realized that it was easier to work hard and to show up when you love and respect the girls around you- because you aren’t doing it for yourself, you’re doing it for them too. I think we are headed on the right path.
