The championship was last night and let me tell you, we walked onto that field like we owned it. Through the blood, sweat, hours of practice, and hard running, we were ready to win that game. And that is exactly what we did! It wasn’t even close. There was great ball movement and we really looked like we wanted to win. We played for each other and left everything we had on the field. I loved seeing everyone’s smiling faces as we scored one goal after the other and especially after we won. Coach Rachel said our communication on and off the field was the best she’d ever seen in her 40 years of soccer.
